Hollywood update

Marco Silvestri, former Elysium employee, who obtained a place at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood in 2012, recently graduated and has completed the intensive programme at South Coast Repertory (Tony Award-winning theatre in Orange County).

Since his graduation, Marco has featured in various movies, including "Mercy" in which he starred as a softball player. As a previous representative of Great Britain in the same sport, this would have come naturally to him.

"Tomorrow's Heroes", directed by Steve Sayre who worked on the original Rocky film, "Die Schwarze", "Closing The Gap" and "On The Prowl" are other films where Marco appears. "On The Prowl" is a short film written by Marco himself.

Theatre credits include "A Feminine Ending", "Fool For Love", "Suburbia", "Heaven Can Wait", "The Barretts Of Wimpole Street", "The Lonesome West", "To Gillian On Her 37th Birthday", "Becoming Memories", "Hooters", "Tartuffe", "Orphans", "Almost Maine", "The Taming Of The Shrew", and "The Dark At The Top Of The Stairs".

In addition, Marco has appeared in various TV shows and commercials, the more notable of these being for Samsung.
